Parkside Town Commons is a mixed-use shopping center anchored by Frank Theatres, Target, Harris Teeter, Field & Stream, and Golf Galaxy. Phase I opened in 2014 and Phase II is well underway. Field and Stream and Golf Galaxy are now open. Frank Theatres featuring 11 screens and 16 lanes of bowling will open spring 2015 and other shops opening upon completion including favorites IT’SUGAR, Toby Keith’s I Love this Bar, Chuy’s Mexican Restaurant, Panera Bread, Embassy Nails, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Menchie’s Yogurt, Chick-fil-A, Bank of America Brixx Wood Fired Pizza, Sport Clips, Verizon Wireless, Nishiki Sushi Bar, Smallcakes Cupcakery and Noodles & Company
Parkside Town Commons is adjacent to the Research Triangle Park (RTP), the largest research park in the U.S. RTP is home to over 140 companies employing more than 49,000.
The Raleigh-Cary metro is ranked # 3 on Bloomberg’s 2013 list of “America’s boomtowns.” The Raleigh-Cary metro’s population grew by 11.06 % with compound annual GDP growth of 1.49%. That growth comes on the strength of Research Triangle Park, which is attracting top talent from all over the country. As a result, the housing market is also booming – there were 1,002 annual closings and 1,045 annual starts from the first quarter of 2012 – 2013. In the last 3 years alone, 20 subdivisions within a 3 – 4 mile radius have reached build-out.
